Saturday, April 9, 2011, - 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.  Kauai ARC Spring Field Day @ NH7TZ home in Lawai.   Come and participate in the KARC Spring Field Day event.  VHF/UHF, HF, Mobile, and Satellite stations will be in operation and available to practice your hams skills.

This preview field day event is for the purpose of planning our clubs participation in the ARRL Field Day in June as well as to socialize with your fellow club members and their families. 

There are three phone QSO parties that weekend on HF. Come and see the stepper beam in operation and HAMs even try it for yourself.

Get yourself ready for ARRL Field day which is on June 25^th and 26^th. The event is free and everyone and their families are welcome. A potluck lunch is at noon.  Bring a favorite food dish to share, a chair, hat, and sunscreen!

From the intersection of Hwy 50 & Koloa Rd, at the traffic light, in Lawai, travel south toward Koloa 1.6 Miles and turn left onto Mana Hema. Travel one short block to the dead end and turn left onto a long driveway. This is the driveway, about a third of a mile, to Jane’s house passing several other homes and driveways.

Jane’s and Glenn’s house is at the end of this long driveway through a gate and there will be some signs to make sure you didn’t make a wrong turn.

If you’re coming from the direction of Lihue you can turn earlier on Piko at the mortuary and save a few minutes. See the map below.
